Vishal and Nayantara starrar Salute is almost completed. This film will star Vishal in the role of a cop and for this role, Vishal has done an extensive study on the life and work of cops. Vishal will also be seen doing some mind-blowing stunts in the film. Two days back, there were rumors floating around that Nayantara had shot a smooching scene with Vishal for this flick. Enraged at the false rumor, she refutes having done such a scene. She is at present in Bangkok with her friends to celebrate the New Year.

Recently Nayanatara has thrilled all her colleagues and her fans with her bikini show in Ajith starrar Billa. When talked about it, "People are talking only about my glamour part in 'Billa.' I have done a new type of role for the first time. No one seems to have noticed that. I have chosen a proper path only after this film and I want to make good use of it. At the same time, I have no objection to portraying glamour roles. I would do it if necessary for the story,” said Nayanatara.
