Sumanth is acting in his home production after a long time. His sister Supriya is producing a film on their reputed banner S.S. Creations. Akkineni Nagarjuna is presenting it on Annapoorna Studios banner. The film is titled 'Pourudu'. It has completed major part of the shooting. Raj Aditya, an associate of director Priyadarshan, is the director. Sumanth is paired with Kajal in the film and he plays the role of a youngster who aspires to become an IAS officer. The film is all set to release in January 2008.
