The shooting of Rajni – Shankar’s Telugu version 'Robot', jointly produced by Aiyangaran International and Eros International has started today, September 8, 2008. Though earlier sources said that the film’s title has been changed from ‘Robot’ to ‘Yantram’, it’s applicable only to Tamil version, as there is tax exemption for the Tamil titles in Tamil Nadu state. However, the title for the Telugu version is considered as ‘Robo’, that is in Telugu letters. As we all know, Aishwarya Rai Bachan is being paired with Rajnikanth in the film. Graphics will be designed by Stan Winston Studio which became popular with the films Jurassic Park, Indiana Jones and Artificial Intelligence for its technical values. Famous Chinese martial arts choreographer and film director Yuen Woo-ping is composing the stunt sequences who is popular for his hit films like First Legend (1994), The Matrix (1999), Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (2000) etc.Telugu Robo shooting commenced
