Remember, actress Shriya who entered the film world with her girl next door looks in the film ‘Ishtam’, later turned to be one of the busiest heroines in Tollywood, after her second film ‘Santhosam’ with Nag became the block buster. She had paired with almost all the top heroes in Telugu. But she quickly seems to have understood that no heroine can exist long irrespective of her talent in the present world where the competition is too high, therefore shifted her base from Tollywood to Kollywood. Although her first film in Tamil was the remake of ‘Varsham’, she got nationwide recognition with the film ‘Shivaji’ pairing with the Superstar Rajinikanth. That film had changed her fate in Tamil, and today she is one of the highest paid actresses in Tamil industry. Now, the buzz is that Kamal Haasan roped in Shriya as the second heroine for his current dream project “Marmayogi’, in which Trisha plays the main female lead. So far, even if Shriya had no restrictions in exposing herself, she had certain limitations as far as kissing scenes are concerned. But now, it appears Shriya is going to break that in ‘Marmayogi’ by lip locking with Kamal. She is going to portray as Kamal’s wife in a flashback episode. Pyramid Saimira is producing this trilingual film, simultaneously made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Kamal, besides playing the lead man, also takes up the direction in charge.
