Its Labour Party for Chiranjeevi

As opposed to previous rumors of Chiranjeevi’s political party being named as Mana Desam, the actor has finally decided on Labour Party as the name of his political entry. Putting the final confirmatory stamp on the megastar’s much awaited and publicized entry into politics, Allu Arvind announced on 31 May that Chiranjeevi will indeed be making his move in August this year “Launching a new party requires a lot of time and hard work. That is why there was a delay in announcing Chiranjeevi’s intentions. Chiranjeevi is making this move to fulfill the dreams and aspirations of the people.”

According to a handout given to the media some advertising details of Chiranjeevi’s political party included the following information.

Chiranjeevi’s blue and red flagged Labour Party will work in collaboration with the Communist parties and Loksatta party.

The party will be officially launched either on August 15th or 22nd at Ichapuram in Srikakulum.

Chiranjeevi will under take a three month yatra to travel across the state and talk about his party manifesto that includes free medicine , free education, employment for a single member from each family, Rural industrialization, special ministries for the BCs, SCs and STs and 33% reservations for women, among other things.

The party also has an extensive party management in place with the party divided into state wing, Zonal and district committees and committees for each city, town, village and mandal. The party will also included a women’s, BS’s, SC’s ST’s wings along with those or farmers, employees and lawyers.

The party office will be situated in a newly built building at Jubilee Hills’ road no: 48. The office will be inaugurated on 21st August.

Ever since this news was flashed across the television for the good part of Saturday, Chiranjeevi’s fans through out the state broke into mass celebrations. With a whole of action to be brought under control film maker and Chiranjeevi’s close ally Allu Arvind released a statement that though Chiranjeevi’s party will be launched in August other party details were not divulged, by them, to the media and that media was solely responsible for the frenzy being created. Chiranjeevi’s brother Nagababu also stated that the media had un necessarily hyped a non existent piece of information.
