Movie Artist Association has been providing health benefits to it members and associates for the last four years. For this year, the association, in collaboration with Apollo Hospitals launched the Apollo MAA Health Card, a new scheme, which was unveiled by young actor Allu Arjun. The launch took place at the Apollo Hospital in Jubilee Hills. MAA president Nagendra Babu, vice president Srikanth, Mallikarjuna Rao, Parachuri Venkateshwar Rao and Apollo Hospital CEO Hariprasad were also present at the event.
“We have been running this health scheme for the past four years. Many of the association members have benefited through this” MAA president Nagendra Babu said “But they have also been instances where this card was misused. I therefore request the Apollo health personnel to provide the essential services to those in need only. I also request the association members not to take undue advantage of this scheme”
Parachuri Venkateswar Rao and Allu Arjun also echoed Nagendra Babu sentiments and urged the association members not to misuse the card.
“Health care will be provided to the card holders in any of the Apollo Hospitals through out India.” MAA Vice president, actor Srikanth said.
