Veteran actors and husband-wife duo Krishna and Vijaya Nirmala will be working together for M. Sai Santhosh Arts Productions’ new venture Soldier, but not as the lead pair. Guinness record holder Vijaya Nirmala will be directing Krishna in this film that also co stars Balaji in the lead. The film was launched today at Planet 10 in Nanakramguda. State Road and Transport Minister Kanna Lakshmi Narayana and guest C.Kalyan did the honors of sounding the clap board and switching on the camera, respectively. A press meet was held after the event wherein the film’s cast and crew interacted with the media.
“A player works for the honor of the country just like a soldier who works for the safety of the country” actor Krishna said “Vijaya Nirmala is basing this story on that particular belief and concept.”
“This film is being made keeping in the mind the present audiences’ preferences.” Director Vijaya Nirmala said adding that the film will be completed in a single schedule.
Soldier is being produced by Smt Krishna Veni and has music by Prasanna Kumar.
