Krishna unit upbeat about the success

The unit of Krishna, a Ravi Teja-Trisha starrer, is in upbeat mood over the stupendous hit of the film, drawing huge crowds at the theatres. Produced by B. Kasiviswanatham and directed by hotshot VV Vinayak, the film was released on January 12 and registered the first success among the Sankranti releases. Ravi Teja-mark performance and hilarious comedy of Brahmanandam as Bobby, Vinayak's impressive direction, Trisha's glamour and Chakri's score helped the film rake up a big victory. The success meet was organized at Prasad Labs, Hyderabad.

Brahmanandam recalled the making of Krishna with a happy mood. "The credit of carving the character Bobby goes to Vinayak. Though I have done nearly 800 films, I had not enjoyed such happiness as I got with Bobby's role. The character is not a mould one. But it got elevation from time to time thanks to the discussions while making the film. Much concentration was also taken with diction. Ravi Teja used to say that he was a big fan of Amitabh Bachchan. I can say, he holds that great ease in his body language and the impact of Big B was so glaring in his histrionics. He is one person in the industry who doesn't mind his image as a hero, shedding all egos. His energy levels have no parallel and for that reason he endeared himself to the audiences."

VV Vinayak said: "A few days before the release of the film, we arranged the Audio success meet. However, a kind of dilemma was writ large on all our faces. To be frank, I got duller while doing the second half. However, it was due to encouragement and confidence of Ravi Teja that I could successfully finish the project. I thank the audiences for their big support to Krishna."

Ravi Teja said: "I enjoyed each and every moment during the making of Krishna. My trust in Vinayak never belied me. My combination with Brahmanandam always drew huge applause. I look forward to repeat the combination in future also. I also thank Chakri, my good friend, for his great music."
