Instead of a glitzy party Dr Rajasekhar, who turned a year older on 4th February, chose to celebrate his birthday by being a Good Samaritan. From donating a water purifying unit to AIDS patients to inaugurating a water tank, constructed by him, at a boys hostel, to distributing fruits to the invalids of the NTR Basava Tarakam Cancer Hospital, the actor had done it all.
Speaking about the recent events and his entry into politics the actor said “My father is from Chitoor and my mother from Guntur. Though my ancestors shifted to Tamil Nadu, I will always belong to Andhra Pradesh. I have always wanted to be a Telugu actor and that is the reason I settled over here in Hyderabad.
I will not join politics right now. I will join the right party at the right time. I would like to thank everybody for showing me a lot of concern and love during the past days’ events.”
Rajasekhar is presently working in SuperGood Films’ Gorintaku. Rajasekhar also announced that he will soon be acting in a film that will be directed by his actress-wife Jeevitha.
