First, Balakrishna's Okka Magadu will hit the screens on January 11 with nearly 300 prints. It is a crucial film for Balakrishna as for the past 15 years he has just given two blockbusters Samarasimha Reddy and Narasimha Naidu. Fans and filmmakers are very confident of this film that he brings back success into Balakrishna’s career. This is the first time that Ravi Teja is will be competing in the Pongal season with Krishna , directed by V V Vinayak. Both the director VVVinayak and Ravi Teja are in need success now as their earlier films bombed at box office. Trisha is paired opposite Ravi Teja in Krishna , which hits screens on 12th January.
On 13th, Sumanth starar action flick Pourudu is hitting screens. The movie is presented by Annapoorna Studios and produced by Sumanth’s sister Supriya, Kajal plays opposite Sumanth in this film. Pourudu is one man's battle against the corrupted system. Sumanth is confident that action films in this season are likely to have an edge over other films. And on 15th Jan, M S Raju brings Vaana. A remake of the Kannada blockbuster, Mungare Male, this romantic film introduces Tamil hero Vinay to the Telugu screen. Meera Chopra is paired opposite Vinay in this flick, which is being directed by MS Raju.
