Okkamagadu is the recent release of the creative director YVS Chowdary. Balakrishna in a dual role is a highlight in the movie. This movies concept was on orruption and ran in the lines of Bharatheyudu which was released in 1990’s.
Thought the reviews of the film are said to be negative, but it is learnt from the director that the movie has made a good collection in Andhra and Rayalseema which are said to be the golden areas for the Nandamuri families. As normally everyone’s film who come from the Nadamuri family get good collections from these two areas.
This a a fact as most of the films of Balakrishna , Harikrishna , Junior NTr and Kalyan Ram have exceeded collections of 14-15 crores from these dual areas.
Coming back to YVS, it is said that YVS has learnt a lesson from his latest movie Okamagadu which he directed and produced at the same time, that he must stick to the concept of Love and that too Youth as his last movies also with Harikrishna which were some message oriented bombed at the box office.
His first movie “Lahiri Lahiri Lahiri Lo” was a super hit with Love as its main element and also hthe songs were also much appreciated. His next movie Devdas with Illeana and Ram making their debut was a super duper hit as it ran for 180 days in Hyderabad which is much applaudable .
So his next movie titled ‘Reey’ is also said to be with the concept of love and little action. The hit compbination of Ram, Illeana and YVS himself is repeating again.
Though the title is still to be considered strictly, the cast combination is almost confirmed and it is said that Illeana has also signed for the movie.
So again the Ram +Illeana + YVS Chowdary combination will come up with a good film if all goes well accordingly.
