So perpetuating with the history, this year also big films like Krishna of actor Ravi Teja and Okamagadu of NBR will be releasing this year and also Ms Raju’s Vaana will also be open on this Pongal .
The same is followed for the shooting schedule to begin as January 18th this year is confirmed as very auspicious day for any new shooting to begin.
Son our big stars of Tollywood, Prince Mahesh Babu and Victory Venkatesh is also starting their shooting career this year on this so called auspicious day.
Mahesh Babu is going to star for the movie which would be directed by Jasti memambar and produced by Dr.Kl Narayana Rao would start from 18th January which will also star Illeyana as the lead actress in this film.
And Victory Venkatesh is also starting his 2008 year career with the shooting of Chintakayala Ravi. This film is produced by Nallamallupu Bujji and directed by yogi. Anushaka and Priyamani are going to be the heroines in this film
Mahesh with his latest success ‘Athidhi’is riding high in tollywood as the film has grossed a whooping amount of 26 crores in the first three weeks collections . Amrita rao whoc was the actress in this film sizzled as a Telugu girl with her hot looks and sexy body. In the first week of the film’s release there were rumors circulating in the media that the onscreen chemistry of Mahesh and Amrita seems little more real. It was also said that Mahesh was also interested in amrita and it is said that with the stories hitting day to day Mahesh’s wife Namrata was also hurt and worried by this .but all ended well as they were shrugged of as baseless rumors by the prince,.
Venky, on the other hand, is happy with the success he met with his latest film “Tulasi”. The film is nearing to its 100 days run and with strong competition from “Happy Days” it is still withstanding the theater stand.
Let’s hope that the two big starts of Telugu cinema maintain the consistency in delivering mega hits in the year 2008, too.
