Ghai-Anil Kapoor returns after 9 years

Close to a decade after they last worked together, Subhash Ghai and Anil Kapoor would be returning with BLACK & WHITE.

There was a period during the late 80s and good part of 90s when Subhash Ghai and Anil Kapoor were working together on successive projects. A journey which started more than two decades back with MERI JUNG (1985) saw many more fruitful alliances in the form of KARMA (1986), RAM LAKHAN (1989), TRIMURTI (1995) [where Ghai was the producer] and finally TAAL [1999]. Strangely after TAAL, Ghai's last successful film, Anil Kapoor was not to be seen in any of his subsequent directorial ventures like YAADEIN or KISNA.

With Ghai making a comeback in 2008, he has roped in old war horse Anil Kapoor for both his directorial ventures, hence ending a decade long drought. Other than a tailor-made role in BLACK & WHITE which revolves around terrorism, Anil Kapoor would also be seen playing one of the three principal characters in the musical YUVRAAJ. The film also stars Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif.
