Krishna unit confident about music

As the release of Krishna, a film starring Ravi Teja and Trisha in the lead; produced by B. Kasi Viswanatham; directed by VV Vinayak, and presented by DVV Danayya, is set for release on January 12 th, a press meet was organized at Prasad Labs, Hyderabad, today.

V V Vinayak said: ": Actually, we wanted to organize the audio release of Krishna in a grand manner, but couldn't do it due to the sudden demise of Congress leader P. Janardhan Reddy. Our simple function resulted in a doubt, as to whether we succeeded in taking the Audio deep into the general public. But, my doubt proved beyond doubt that it was a superb success as we started getting positive reports from all nooks and corners of the state. In fact, there remains a feel that my films would not have chartbusting songs. But, it is no so in this film. I am thankful to music director Chakri, who gave stupendous tunes, despite facing a lot of pressure from our side. Lyrics by Chandrabose, who penned the job as a single card, are simply superb. Chota K. Naidu's cinematography and uncompromising nature of producer Kasi Viswanatham are great assets to our film. I can never forget the cooperation from Danayya. Coming to Ravi Teja, he will sure rip the screen with his energetic performance. I look forward to do another movie with him. The fans of Ravi Teja will have a feast when the film would release on January 12 th. I wish you all a very happy New Year."

Ravi Teja said: " I want to say so many things. But, everything was disclosed to you by my bava (VV Vinayak). All the films in the combination of me and Chakri were musical hits and screen hits. He has once again proved this with Krishna. Chandrabose penned all the songs for this film. Earlier, he rendered the solo lyric Hai Re Hai in my earlier film Sindhooram, which was a super hit. I am confident that all the songs in the film are going to become chartbusters. I don't have much to say about my bava. Just I am eager to do another film with him. All through the film, I can say, we all enjoyed the film rather than worked on it. I sincerely wish for next film in our combination."

Chandrabose said: "For the first time, I penned six lyrics for Ravi Teja film. Chakri came out with extraordinary work and took lots of pains to give quality output. Chakri is like a music factory, which works on three shifts without break. Though he would come out with a number of tunes, Vinayak would express his dissatisfaction. This only prompted Chakri to compose even more powerful tunes. Vinayak said that the songs in his movies would generally be dull. But, I got Nandi Award for a song which I had penned for his film. Ashok Teja got National Award for his song in Tagore, directed by Vinayak. So, it proves that Vinayak has a strong musical sense. In this film, it would even become more powerful."

Chota K. Naidu said: "We all worked for this film with a feel that we belonged to one family. The budget also became huge. Vinayak insisted for the best and the same could be seen when you see the quality output. I can only say, Krishna is going to be an eye feast to the fans of Ravi Teja."

Chakri sang the song Dil Maange More in Krishna. Later, he said: "When I did this song, one thing was in my mind for sure. It would not suit any hero, but only Ravi Teja. After the song was done, I am proud to say that my feeling was hundred percent correct. Right from the beginning, I have been giving this kind of tunes for Ravi Teja's films. I gainsay that I know what type of songs suit him well. All my previous combinations prove this contention. Several people had asked me several times – why I didn't work for some of the films of Ravi Teja, though I had given him chartbusters. I tell only one thing to them. It is not important that I score music for the hero's project. The hero's approval for my music counts a lot. This way, my brother Ravi gave me several hits. Krishna – the Power of Indrakeeladri has all hit songs. The movie will sure become a blockbuster."

Producer Kasi Viswanath, Presenter DVV Danayya and writer Akula Siva also spoke on this occasion and expressed their sure confidence on the screen-success of Krishna.
