Regular shooting launch – Rajasekhar-Bhumika's film

Raja Sekhar's film with Bhumika in the lead role was earlier launched with formal pooja and the regular shooting of the film has commenced from September 21st .The film is a remake of Malayalam hit movie 'Hello'. It is directed by Ram Prasad of Chirunavvutho fame while Maganti Gopinath produces the film and planned to release the film by next summer.
The subject of the film is a love between a 40 years old man and an 18 year old girl. The love among the odd combination is narrated in a most entertaining way. Rajasekhar is playing this role in a totally different manner. Chinna scored the music for the film.

Tamil comedian and hero of comedy films, Vadivelu is not only popular in Tamil but also in Tollywood with his dubbing films. Earlier this comedian danced with Asin in a dance sequence in Tamil Pokiri.
Now Vadivelu is roped in a dance sequence with Nayanatara in a film titled 'Villu' under the direction by Prabhudeva. The song is a remix song "My name is Billa" from Rajinikanth film 'Billa'. It appears that Nayanatara agreed to play with Vadivelu surprising the Tamil film industry.

Dongala Bandi – Press Meet

A press meet was held by the unit of ‘Dongalabandi’ on September 16 at Film Chamber, Hyderabad. This Allari Naresh - Tanya starrer is made on GSK Network banner by GSK Naidu. Script writer Vagesna Satish is being introduced as the director. The shooting of the film is almost complete except for a song. It’s currently progressing with editing and dubbing activities.

Other prominent casts are Krishna Bhagawan, Kovai Sarala, MS Narayana, Puja Bharati, Kondavalasa, Jayaprakash Reddy, Shakeela, Melkote and Rao Ramesh.

Director Vegesna Satish while speaking, “Dongalabandi is an adventure plus comedy entertainer. Since the film is filled with comedy elements the tagline of the film was fixed as “No Logic, only fun magic”. The story is about the treasure hunt in a thick green forest. We shot few scenes in the forest for about 50 days. It’s a small village which is about 120 km away from Badrachalam. Camera man Arun Kumar had grasped exactly what I needed.

Producer GSK Babu stated that he is making this film on a commercial basis since he stepped into film production on business. Further speaking he said that most part of the film was shot in risky places surrounded by wild animals and poisonous snakes.

Allari Naresh shows tremendous confidence on this film. According to him the music and cinematography are extremely good. He also announced that he is going to do yet another film in Vegesna Satish’s direction in the year 2009.

“I enjoyed a lot shooting for this film. Although it’s a comedy film, there are many adventures in the film and we had to take personal risk to shoot in the thick forests, steep hills, and valleys,” said Arun Kumar, the cinematographer of Dongalabandi.

Music Director Rajasekhar Valluri too expresses the same confidence as Allari Naresh did, that this film would be a sure shot win. He was also happy to say that the music has come out very well as the story too demands it.

Above all, the main attractions of the film are, Naresh would be seen in a six pack abs, besides various getups such as Cowboy, Robin Hood and James Bond. Heroine Tanya also portrayed her role in most glamorous manner.

The shooting of Rajni – Shankar’s Telugu version 'Robot', jointly produced by Aiyangaran International and Eros International has started today, September 8, 2008. Though earlier sources said that the film’s title has been changed from ‘Robot’ to ‘Yantram’, it’s applicable only to Tamil version, as there is tax exemption for the Tamil titles in Tamil Nadu state. However, the title for the Telugu version is considered as ‘Robo’, that is in Telugu letters. As we all know, Aishwarya Rai Bachan is being paired with Rajnikanth in the film. Graphics will be designed by Stan Winston Studio which became popular with the films Jurassic Park, Indiana Jones and Artificial Intelligence for its technical values. After the advent of starting a political party "Praja Rajyam" by Chiranjeevi, there seems to be full activities going on in almost all other political parties in the state. Each party is planning its own schemes to win in the coming elections. Already candidates from TDP are going and joining "Praja Rajyam". Although they appear to be bold from outside they are different internally. Therefore particularly the major parties are developing their own formulas to attack each other for an effective control in the forthcoming general elections.

The TDP is planning to attack with cine glamour to attract the voters. Balakrishna, NTR, Kalyanram and Harikrisna being strong supporters of TDP promised to do necessary canvassing and support in the coming elections. It is also understood that a big public meeting will be conducted with Balakrishna in retaliation to Chiru's public meet at Tirupathi.

On the other hand Chiru party leaders are planning for a tour to Chiranjeevi lasting about 30 days. During his tour he may address the people at specified places but it is an opportunity for him to meet the people face to face. However the programme for his tour and other details are not yet announced officially from the party leaders. Unconfirmed sources say that the tour may start from Adilabad. It is also rumored that there is a possibility to start from Srikakulam district also due to the entry of Thammineni Sitaram in "Praja Rajyam".

At last Chirajeevi broke the suspense and announced his party's name, agenda and the flag.

The mega public meeting was arranged at Avilala grounds Tirupati. Lakhs of people from all over the state reached Tirupati today morning by trains, busses and other transport. Elaborate arrangements were made to accommodate all the people. High security arrangements were made with about 3000 police force and volunteers. Food and water arrangements and medical facilities were also provided. Ambulances were also kept ready to meet any emergency. Except for minor incidents the meeting went on well as scheduled from the beginning to the end. Before Chiru's arrival cultural programmes were arranged to keep the people happy and quiet. Singer Mano rendered his voice for some patriotic songs.

The meeting was commenced by 5.30 PM with the arrival of Chiranjeevi clad in a white dress. Chiru appeared cool with a smilling face. Soon he greeted the gathering with joining hands. The audience felt happy to see their leader and also responded with 'Jai Chiranjeeva' slogans. Later Chiru commenced his address by extending his gratitude to all the sector of people like youth, women, brothers and sisters, laborers, poor and down trodden, farmers, media, police personnel and all those who have attended the meeting taking all the pains. Beginning his speech, Chiru narrated his life story by saying that he came from a poor family and his father was a police constable. The Telugu people have extended their support all these years and now he requested support for his new role as politician. Chiru further said that he has traveled in India and abroad extensively and learnt many things. He thanked the public for their blessings and their immense support has given him strength to join the politics. He also said, "I am not a leader but only a worker"(nenu naayakudini kaadhu sevakudini matrame).He further reiterated, “in Chiru's life there is only a forward movement but not a backward movement”. Therefore he stated that his main aim is to make a “Chirunavvula” Andhra Pradesh. Throughout the speech the audience responded with applause and raise of slogans.

After giving an exited speech Chiranjeevi announced his party's name with a little suspense as "PRAJA RAJYAM', meaning a people's party. He said that his party emerged only because of the wishes of Telugu people and it is apt to name the party “Praja Rajyam”.

He said that a study will be made on all the above problems with learned and experienced persons and necessary schemes will be evolved. Regarding Telangana issue he stated that it is very sensitive problem and it cannot be solved by him individually. He also stated that priority will be given for development of backward areas in the state.

After completion of the agenda, Chiranjeevi showed the flag on the screen. People felt very happy to see the much awaited structure of the flag. He made a handicapped person to hoist the flag. The design of the flag is in 3 parts - white colour with a green border at the bottom with sun symbol centrally placed with 24 rays emerging. Later he also explained the meaning of the flag.

White: A mixture of several colours for a better and clean administration.

Green: Symbolically for the development of agriculture and farmers problems.

Sun: Represents energy and the yellow colour around it for happiness and 'Chirunavvulu'.
